Pit Crews, a leading motorsport recruitment agency, approached Grid Media with a clear objective: to establish a strong functional recruitment website with a brand identity that reflects their expertise and professionalism in the industry. They sought a brand that would resonate with clients seeking top-tier talent and skilled professionals aspiring to advance their motorsport careers.

The Challenge

Specialising in providing race mechanics and engineers, Pit Crews understood the importance of a strong brand presence in a competitive market and a website that would be quick and simple to use. They needed a visual identity that would communicate their commitment to excellence, precision, and teamwork while capturing the dynamic spirit of motorsport.

The Solution

We first worked on the brand; inspired by the iconic chequered flag, a symbol of victory and the culmination of a race, we developed a bold black-and-white logo that embodies Pit Crews' mission. With its clean lines and dynamic composition, the strong graphic element creates a memorable visual impact that resonates with its target audience. Like the chequered flag, the logo's design allows for both original and inverted versions to be interchangeable, maintaining brand consistency and impact across various platforms and backgrounds.

We then extended this brand identity across multiple platforms, including a user-friendly, responsive website that showcases their services and connects clients with skilled professionals. The website features job vacancy boards that allow candidates to search and apply for relevant positions. We ensured the clean, modern UI worked across all devices. The chequered flag-inspired branding was subtly integrated throughout, reinforcing the brand message and creating a cohesive visual experience. We also designed staff apparel featuring the Pit Crew's logo to strengthen their professional image and foster team unity.
